Viewing file previews

The preview feature in Docubird allows you to quickly view the contents of a file without first opening it in Word, Excel or another application. This saves time and avoids having to open multiple documents unnecessarily.

Show example

Use the Preview feature to see the contents of a document before you open it:

  1. Select the file Open the action menu (⋯) and click Show Preview(or click directly on the Preview icon in the menu bar)
  2. The preview opens on the right side so you can quickly browse the content.

Browse files

Use the left and right arrows to scroll through the files in the same folder. Useful when you want to go through multiple documents without returning to the overview each time.

Further work

Close the preview using the cross in the upper right corner. If you want to continue working in the document, open it in the usual way by clicking on the file, or deliberately choosing Open in App or Open in Browser.
